Pc Tools Spyware Doctor With Antivirus
Yahoo.YiSouBar trojan ,How can i kill it?
Hi there, my computer had a number of virus,adware, trojans,etc that im getting under control by installing,Superantispyware ,Avast antivirus ,Online armour firewall ,PC tools spyware doctor ,Spy-bot search and distroy,AD-Aware, doing all that you would think that my computer would be clean as but no, there is this trojan Yahoo.YiSouBar that i cant get reed of, Spybot finds it but everytime i have tried to delete it spybot can't because its running in the system some where somehow, any ideas other then formating the hard drive?i cant do that because i dont have an english coppy of windows XP , my computer came with a Chinese pirate version of windows XP , any ideas other then buy a new computer?
Ah, yes. The program that is running from nowhere. LOL, this has happened to me many times.
Here is what you do. Its a long process, but it will be worth it.
Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del
It opens up the task panel. Now, click on the second tab. It should show a list of numerous hidden applications running. Copy all of those and paste them in Notepad or something. Then, print it out. (note all this is optional, but helpful). Look at the paper. anything that is run by the User is probably something you want to target. Scan the list. Sometimes, anything with a list of letters and numbers can be harmful. Go through the list and end certain programs. Eventually, you will hit a program that keeps reviving, no matter how many times you end it. That will probably be the virus.
run your antivirus software. Whenever it finds it, try and shut it down before you remove it with the antivirus. It may take some doing, but keep at it and it will eventually go away.
Completely different option:
buy a registry scanner.
Scan for malicious ware.
Delete from registry.
Restart.
Easier, but costly.
